On My Way Back . . .

I am starting to think about thinking about another FET...

Therapy is so amazing and if you're not talking to someone about the whole ART process then do! It really has made a difference in my life!

Taking a break has been so necessary! Six months of going through a failed IVF cycle and FET really took its toll on me. It has been such a blessing to just get back to being me...

I've started to read blogs again. I can read about your lives and not be overwhelmed with emotions. So, that's a good thing.

Not much to say on the IVF front...

If you'd like to post a comment to update me that would be great! I don't know how much I've missed! Hopefully someone out there has had some success with ART!

It's great to have you back Jenny!

I am halfway through my second cycle. Not feeling very optimistic though.

I am so glad that therapy is helping you. I think that we are going to have to consider it if this cycle fails.

I have missed you, Jenny - was heartened to see you're back! I am very VERY glad to hear that you are feeling better and taking a break was the answer for you. Chances are I'll be doing the same...

Definitely keep us posted on the FET!

Glad you are back! It is sometimes necessary to take a mental break, huh?

Wishing you the best!

how do you find someone to talk to about ART? I only see personal and marital ones in the phone book.

Heather, I asked my RE for a list of therapists who specialize in IF. You can also call you mental care provider and ask them for assistance. I hope that gives you some direction! It really is worth it!

Oh girl, it's good to hear from you. I am glad to hear that all is well and you are feeling better. Therapy does do wonders, it's the only way I got through.

I am 10dpt transfer now, beta next Weds. I hope I've got some good news but there have been no signs one way or the other yet.

So glad that you're back and feeling better. Therapy sounds wonderful, and taking a break was just what the doctor ordered.

I don't have ART-related good news other than the fact that we're trying IVF/ICSI #2 in October/Nov, which seems like an eternity from now but I know is not that far...

I am so glad you are back.

I remember back when I was in the place you were (1 failed fresh and 1 failed frozen)... it was a difficult place. I am so glad the therapy is helping you.

Good luck with the FET.

Hello! We have missed you! :)

I can't remember exactly how long you've been gone, but I am just barely into my second trimester with one after IVF. We've done tons of praying along the way and still don't take ANYTHING for granted.

I am so glad that therapy has been helping you! It truly is a Godsend, isn't it?

Here's praying that many more of us are along the pregnancy path soon!!!!!

Hi Sunny Jenny ~ welcome back.

No ART news from me seeing how I'm on this extended break... but I do have a new baby! A funny little puppy named Banjo. She's a leggy Puggle. Also, the husband promised to keep an open mind about someday pursuing adoption.

Sunny J: I'm so glad you're back. Glad you're ready to get moving again (as opposed to simply being glad you're moving, you understand). I hope this time you're moving towards great and wonderful things. Time will tell.

Me? Well, in case you're interested, FET#3 is under way. Transfer Tuesday, but blog still a little on the morose side - just a head's up in case you're not feeling quite *that* dandy.

Breaks are a good idea--and it takes a strong person to take one. Never underestimate that strength.

I agree--a fertility therapist made ALL the difference on our journey. Did it make me less depressed--no. But did it help me cope with that depression--yes yes yes!

Welcome back.

Great to hear from you! Glad therapy is helping you. I think it should be mandatory for failed cycles.
